This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships made between 1958 and 64.
Condition of the model has some light playwear and the shell transfer on one side is perfect and on the other almost complete.
Condition of the box is good, some creasing.
This is just over 6 inches long. Or 145mms.

This is the Tri-ang Minic Ships model of MT Kronviken / MT Solviken, two sister ships in Viken Shipping’s fleet of five Aframax tankers, built by Samsung Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries.
The casting is of one of a series of 115,000 deadweight ton Aframax Oil Tankers, with a cargo capacity of approximately 805,000 bbl, designed and built by Samsung Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries at Pusan, South Korea in the mid 2000’s.
The model is marked on the underside with the Tri-ang Minic logo, “Modern Edition”, model number P 630 and the description Aframax Tanker.
