Here is another new ship model for 2024. This is a brand new metal 1250 scale model of the Cable laying ship Monarch. She was built for the Post Office Corporation by Robb Caledon in 1976. Based at Southampton her role was for cable repair around the UK and North Atlantic shelf.  She was 3872 tons gross and 97metres long. Pennanted Cable and Wireless.  Length is 78mms or 3 inches .
