This is a model from the second series of Triang Minic ships made in the 70s under the Hornby name.

This is SS United States, holder of the Blue Riband at various times for the fastest travel cross the Atlantic.  A great liner from the age of transatlantic luxury.

She is 10 inches long or 250mm. The model is boxed and has not been removed at all.  These boxes do show wear but this example is as good as it gets.
