Here is a highly detailed model of the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious RO6. She  was the second of the three Invincible Class aircraft carriers of the Royal Navy. Built on the Tyne by Swan Hunter and commissioned in 1982. 22000 tons and 690feet long (210m). Her flight deck beam was 118ft and her max speed was 28knots.  Known with much affection as Lusty and subject of several initiatives to save her which alas were unsuccessful. 

This is a major new model for 2023. It is hand made of resin with metal detail.  Scale is 1/1250. Approx 166mms or 7 inches in length.    Catalogue number N59
