This is the seventh in our series of the River Class Ships of the Royal Navy.  HMS Tamar. Batch2 with helicopter deck. Pennanted P233 Designed for multiple roles including firefighting, disaster relief and anti-pollution work. They have a large open deck enabling different equipment to be fitted for purpose including a 25-tonne crane. They can handle tracked and wheeled vehicles, can carry about 50 troops and have a crew of about 30.  They have an extended deck to take a Merlin helicopter. She is 90metres in length and can do 24knots. Armament  is a 30mm cannon, 4gpmgs and 2 miniguns. She is approximately 2000 tonnes fully loaded. The model  is about 70mm or 2.5 inches long and comes in its own box.   ref N18 from CN Collectables
