This is a model from the First Series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964.

This is a SUNK lightship. Placed by Trinity House where there was hidden danger to shipping, notably in the Thames estuary.  Four other lightships were made in the first series and were in small cellophane  bags packed in boxes of a dozen. Very random mix in these boxes in our experience. and of course in the modern series 3 there were four made with helidecks. Good condition, approx 1 inch in length. our  ref M802
