This model is the Almirante Cochrane, FF05 of the Chilean Navy in life extended mode. She was formerly HMS Norfolk F230 and sold to the Chilean Navy in 2005/6. She was life extended in this role. Item HMS Birmingham D 86 type 42 destroyer These ships were part of the 2011 release of Royal Navy Ships by Triang Minic following the sell out of many items. Ships have pennant numbers and detailed flight decks. Underneath they are the same.Although no longer in service there are many fond associations with her, especially when I coom froom.
