The querk is that on the underside it does say HMS Cardiff when in fact it is Newcastle. The heli deck is wrong too but this is how they were made and this is the only version of HMS Newcastle ever made by Triang.
I have very few of these for sale, and also the reciprocal ships with the wrong name on the underside, HMS Cardiff and HMS Glasgow. In the limited edition this was a production error but Triang were unable to re-release the ships with correct pennant and casting.

In the limited edition this was a production error but Triang were unable to re-release the ships with correct pennant and casting. These were supplied to me by Triang many years later in a tidy up of their warehouse. We are about out of stock of the 2014 carded Glasgows too .
