This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. The Royal Yacht Britannia in Hospital mode. Yes the Queen's Royal Yacht was designed to be easily converted to a hospital ship in times of conflict. Just over 4 inches long, 105mm. Condition: very nice, Triang code M721/721A Our ref M316

Here are some used harbour items from Triang Minic Ships. There are 2 crane sets without their plastic jibs, making 4 cranes in total. I have lots of these so am listing as a separate item and obv cheaper than those with jibs. Shown in photo 2 green base or 2 orange base but may be any mix. Here is a harbour item from the 1st series of Triang Minic Ships, 1956-64. This is an Ocean Terminal based originally on the Southampton Art Deco building. Code M841. It's 50mm or 2 inches in length. 1st Series HMS Wiston minesweeper of the Ton Class. The Royal Navy had 116 of these and Triang made 8, all looking the same but with different names and numbers diecast underneath. This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. In grey 60+ years old.
Condition is the funnel is missing but otherwise good. This is about 1 inch long 25mm.

HMS Volage one of the Royal Navy's five ship "V" Class 1st Rate Fast Anti-Submarine Frigates which were conversions of the remaining ships from the eight ship flotilla of "Valentine" Class destroyers that were laid down, built and commissioned during the Second World War. -
