This is a model from the second series of Triang Minic ships made in the 70s under the Hornby name. This is SS United States, holder of the Blue Riband at various times for the fastest travel cross the Atlantic. A great liner from the age of transatlantic luxury. She is 10 inches long or 250mm. Condition of the model is good playworn with some paint chips to the white painted areas. Most of the plastics are present.

This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships and which were made in the last year or so (1963-4) and is thus very rare.
Triang code M784 Condition of the model is excellent with virtually no wear to the hull although the photos show up marks I can hardly see, a slight amount on the funnels so it has been played with but really well cared for. The helicopter is present and good. These models were packed in 4s or 6s so did not have their own boxes. This is very very good indeed hence the price. 60+ years old This is about 5.5 inches long.
