This is a painted and complete waterline model of an Akula class nuclear submarine in 1250 scale made by CNCollectables in metal. The Akula class was produced by Soviet Russia and is operated by the Russian Navy today. The class name means pike. Also known as Project 971. Length 113m 372ft Beam 13m 45ft Displacement 13000 tonnes. Crew 65 Top speed 35knots This is about 85mms in length. Ref S48. We also have just had some full hull Akulas made. -
