CN Collectables are pleased to announce the next part of our programme of white metal model aircraft model in a new range. All our aircraft are being offered with folded or fixed wings and time and attention has been spent on the undercarriages that you usually cant see. With this release we have now covered all of the major planes that served with the US Navy since WW2 enabling carrier battle fleets to be loaded up with all of the kit. Here is a new and highly detailed model of the ship RFA Sir Bedivere SLEP (modernised)version. L3004. She was commissioned in 1967 and saw extensive service in many naval operations since. Her home port was Marchwood. In 1982 at Ascension she picked up the sappers of 11 Field Squadron Royal Engineers.She suffered slight damage whilst lying in San Carlos Water when a Skyhawk dropped a bomb that glanced off the ship. In 1994, the ship was modernised in a service life extension programme to give it an extra 15 years. The ship was lengthened by 12 m, had superstructure altered, new engines and the ship's bow thrusters were improved. This model is of the modernised version. SLEP. After returning to service in 1998, the ship was sent to Sierra Leone in 2000, and in 2002 the Mediterranean and was diverted to the Persian Gulf accompanied by four British minesweepers. The ship returned to the U.K. in May 2003, carrying the boats and men of 539 Assault Squadron RM. In 2008, she was sold to Brazil, joining her sister ship Sir Galahad (XAS 003). She was handed over in 2009, after a major refit in Falmouth. She was renamed NDCC Almirante Saboia (G-25). Thanks to Wikipedia for info. This is an unmade kit of a Z28 class patrol boat in the Argentine Navy which was captured and renamed HMS Tiger Bay by the crew of HMS Cardiff. There were 20 of these boats in the Argentine Navy. It would be a useful small boat for many harbour scenarios.

This is a painted and complete model of a George Washington class submarine in 1250 scale made by CNCollectables in metal. This was a class of nuclear powered ballistic missile subs which were part of the US nuclear deterrent in the late 1980’s. Length 116m 382ft Beam 10m 33ft Displacement 6709 tonnes. Crew 140 Top speed 22knots. This model is about 3.5inches or 95 mms in length. Sold unboxed and packaged in a jiffy bag. ref S39

It's brand new model time. Here is a CN Collectables hand made painted scale metal model of the Isle of Man Ro-pax ferry MS Ben-my-Chree which means Woman of my Heart. She is the flagship of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and mostly sails between Heysham and Douglas. This livery is the one she currently holds. Our model is newly mastered in metal in 2023.
Length 125m or 411ft Beam: 23.4m or 76.77 ft Scale is 1250 so this model is 100mms long ref F27

This is a painted and complete metal model of HMS Plymouth, a Rothesay Class frigate (type 12M) which served in the Falklands War. Pennanted F126 and built at Devonport. She was 2600 tons, 370ft or 110 m in length. Max speed 30knots. Arms included Sea Cat missiles, 4.5inch guns and a Wasp helicopter. This is a newly mastered metal model in 1250 scale. We are excited to announce the release of a brand new model, the Life ex version of the Type 23 Duke Class frigates. In the last few years most of the type 23s have undergone service life extension servicing at the Devonport Frigate Complex. Major work has included new engines, radar and electronics so we thought it time to make a model. In metal. Ref N52-78
