  • 1st Series Paddle steamer Cardiff Queen .This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964 and sailed around the Bristol Channel especially to holiday destinations such as Ilfracombe and Weston as a day trip ferry. Slight wear but displayable

    Triang Hornby Series 2 Ocean Terminal Set Queen Mary. ref set16 M902

    Here is another Ocean Terminal Set, M902 produced in the 70s when Hornby revived the Triang Minic Ships range.  Made in Hong Kong but all the parts are identical to the 1st and indeed the third series except for the printing underneath.  This set contains Queen Mary in good condition (one mast fixed and one loose), 5 quays, ocean terminal and extension pieces, two breakwaters and ends. crane set and customs shed. Also one tug.  There is a 4 page catalogue as per photos and a harbour plan. Overall this is almost a complete set and in good condition. The contents are in good condition.   The box is quite good with some wear but displayable. The artwork shows the Queen stern  forwards as she arrives at the dock. our ref Set 16  
  • Here is a Naval Harbour  Set, M906 produced in the 70s when Hornby revived the Triang Minic Ships range.  Made in Hong Kong but all the parts are identical to the 1st and indeed the third series except for the printing underneath.  This set contains HMS Vanguard in good condition and HMS Bulwark  with good paintwork but without mast and a plane is damaged., 3 quays, four breakwaters and ends, two crane sets and oil tanks.  There is a 4 page catalogue as per photos and a harbour plan. Overall this is almost a complete set and in good condition. The contents are in good condition.   The box has rips and part missing.  The artwork is good. our ref Set 7

This is in  blue, in good condition and probably unused. It is part of the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964

    Here is a very rare model from the First series of Triang Minic ships, a Pilots' launch. Some playwear and incomplete transfers so ripe for restoration. Pilots is good on one side but not on the other.

  • This is a model from the First  series of Triang Minic ships which were made between 1958 and 1964 HMS Bulwark aircraft carrier in blue. In  good condition. Her mast is taped under the deck for protection.  She is 7 inches long or 190mm. Minic code M 751, our ref  C401 This is the Tri-ang Minic Ships model of HMS Bulwark one of a class of four Light Fleet Carriers laid down at the end of the Second World War and commissioned during the 1950's. Tri-ang Minic produced identical models of HMS Bulwark, HMS Centaur and HMS Albion. The model of HMS Bulwark is distinguished by the model number and name marked on the underside and the deck code 'B'

    Triang Minic Series 1 Royal Navy Carrier Task Group boxed set M893 with Albion as carrier

    Here is a rare example of M983, the Royal Navy Carrier Task Group Set, part of the 1st Series of Triang Minic Ships.. Produced around 1959/60 and containing models of HMS Albion, a ton class minesweeper, a V class frigate and a cruiser.  All the models are secured by a single thread. There are HMS Swiftsure, Virago and Sefton. All the ships are as left the factory.. The ships are blue. The inner lining of sea effect card is almost mint. The outer box in which it sits is excellent. The lid cover has some wear and damage to the corners.  The colouring of the classic design is good overall. 60 years on they are rare and an attractive collectable which captures the spirit of that time..

    This is a model from the First Series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964 and she sailed between Southampton and the Americas. In quite good condition but I think the super structure has been touched up in places. Or it could be the way it came from the factory. She  is about 6 inches long. Or 15cms.  Our ref L320
