This is a handbuilt model of the 35000 ton tanker Maersk Rapier which was on contract to the Ministry of Defence for 14 years. She is 171metres long, 27 metres wide and max speed of 15.5 knots. Her role was to supply a variety of Royal Navy and RAF bases and when not required was chartered to other companies. Photos of finished ship. Made of resin with metal detail. Scale is 1/1250.
