This is a handbuilt model of the 35000 ton tanker Maersk Rapier which was on contract to the Ministry of Defence for 14 years. She is 171metres long, 27 metres wide and max speed of 15.5 knots. This is SS United States Holder of the Blue Riband at various times for the fastest travel cross the Atlantic She is 10 inches long or 250mm. Condition is playworn and the base has been removed.
