Acme and Avenger classes but numbered the wrong way around. Combinations will be from 11-15 and in the 5xx series. Triang made these versions when they also made four examples of the OHP, Arleigh Burke, Spruance, Ticonderoga and Nimitz models. All the other ships were made properly but these has the decals the wrong way around and this wasnt noticed until they arrived in the UK. Ideal for war gaming and for repainting and converting. Needless to say we had about 144 of each set. new unboxed meaning uncarded so that they fit into the large letter shipping rate, less than 25mm wrapped. about 2inches in length 50mm each Triang Minic Code P 860 Our ref SP 13 -
This is a model from the second series of Triang Minic ships made in the 70s under the Hornby name. This is SS United States, holder of the Blue Riband at various times for the fastest travel cross the Atlantic. A great liner from the age of transatlantic luxury. She is 10 inches long or 250mm. The model is boxed and has not been removed at all. These boxes do show wear but this example is as good as it gets. Triang Minic code M 704. Our ref mintUSA -
Here is a highly detailed model of the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Centaur RO6. She was the first of the four Centaur class light fleet aircraft carriers of the Navy. She was the only ship of her class to be completed with the original design configuration of a straight axial flight deck, rather than the newly invented angled flight deck.. She was laid down in 1944 in Belfast with Harland and Wolff and launched in April 1947. Crew 1367 Max speed 28knots. 24000 tonnes. 737ft long, 123ft beam. Scale is 1/1250. It is made of resin by CNCollectables. This example has been around in the stock room for a while. I think that it was a sample guide for painting a batch of them. It's a very fine model and we wont be making any more most probably. ref X103. -

This is a model of the RMS Aquitania 4 funnel liner from the 1st series of Triang Minic Ships so 60+ years old. Cunard Lines. She is 10 inches long or 245mm. In playworn but displayable condition Very striking is she. .The photo shows twoplstic marks, the ship in front of me only has one. We will try and find the one that has sneaked off somewhere. Sorting out some more items from my collection. Here is a diecast model of a Johnson Refuse Lorry with working axle controlled gutter brush. Made by Dinky Toys in the 70s and I bought it 40 years ago. Condition of model immaculate. Not taken out of its box. Condition of box some slight storage worn as per the photo. Ref 449 -

This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964 and this was made in the last year or so and is thus quite rare. Overall condition is quite good with the heliblade intact. HOWEVER There is a badly added LC19 pennant on both sides of the hull. Triang code M784 60+ years old This is about 5.5 inches long.
