  • 1st Series HMS Ashton minesweeper of the Ton Class. The Royal Navy had 116 of these and Triang made 8, all looking the same but with different names and numbers diecast underneath. This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. In blue. 50+ years old. Condition is quite good, a little dusty. This is about 1 inch long 25mm.

    USS Oriskany CV 34 Carrier with white decals.

    Here is a detailed model of the USS Oriskany, the mighty O. CV34.  Here she has white decals on her deck.  She was an Essex class straight deck  carrier completed after the end of WW2 and then adapted  under the SCB27 initiative. 30000 tons and in service until 1976. In 1/1250 scale, made of  resin with metal detail.  This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures.  It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number N77/1.

These were supplied in boxes of a dozen assorted of the five examples of lightship. This model is still in its original plastic packaging and is untouched and unopened.   • This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. The Cork  lightship. These were supplied in boxes of a dozen assorted of the five examples of lightship. I have just found a box of these from the age of the dinosaurs and am listing them today.   • Here is a model of the  USS Germantown which is a Whidbey Island Class Dock Landing ship of the  USNavy.  At 16100 tons there are eight ships in this class.  This model is pennanted 42.         Scale is 1/1250 Size is 6 inches or 150mms in length. In a secure box.     This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures.  It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number N83  
  • Here is a fully assembled and painted model of HMS Forth the submarine tender as she was in 1940 version. She was built on the Clyde in 1938 and in WW2 was based at Holy Loch Scotland and Halifax Nova Scotia. In later life she served in Malta and Singapore.  Scale is 1/1250. She is made of resin with metal detail by Mountford Models. Size is 160 mms or 6 inches long . This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures.  It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number N68

  • 2nd Series Cunard cruise liner RMS Queen Elizabeth  M702 The second series was produced in the 70s in Hong Kong under the Hornby logo. This ship is the original casting with a plastic wheelbase. Condition is good. This is about 10 inches long. Or 265mms. Our ref L832

  • This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. The Royal Yacht Britannia in Hospital mode. Yes the Queen's Royal Yacht was designed to be easily converted to a hospital ship in times of conflict. Just over 4 inches long, 105mm. This example is in very good condition on the port side and superstructure, she also has 3 masts but on the port side there are large missign chips of paint.   Triang code M721/721A our ref L824
