This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. In blue. 50+ years old. Condition is quite good, a little dusty. This is about 1 inch long 25mm.

Here is a detailed model of the USS Oriskany, the mighty O. CV34. Here she has white decals on her deck. She was an Essex class straight deck carrier completed after the end of WW2 and then adapted under the SCB27 initiative. 30000 tons and in service until 1976. In 1/1250 scale, made of resin with metal detail. This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures. It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number N77/1.
