1st Series Paddle steamer Cardiff Queen .This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964 and sailed around the Bristol Channel especially to holiday destinations such as Ilfracombe and Weston as a day trip ferry. 1st Series liner freighter mail ship Port Brisbane M 716. This is a model from the First Series of Triang Minic ships made towards the end of 1962-4. This is why it is a rare ship in the range. Condition of the model is generally very good. The deck colour is creamy and there's a little dust to remove. Displayable and one of my favourite Triangs. This is just over 5 inches long or 138mms. Here is another ship in our Falklands 40th Anniversary tribute range. This is a brand new metal 1250 scale model of HMS Endurance, a Royal Navy ice patrol vessel from 1967 to 1991. She had a bright red hull, as is common for polar vessels to aid visibility but otherwise uncommon for the Royal Navy, so her crew nicknamed her The Red Plum. Endurance was equipped with a signals listening suite on top of the hangar. She also carried two Wasp helicopters. Cat ref N71 Length of the model is 75mms or about 3 inches.

She was 2600 tons, 370ft or 110 m in length. Max speed 30knots. Arms included Sea Cat missiles, 4.5inch guns and a Wasp helicopter. This is a newly mastered metal model in 1250 scale. This is a painted and complete metal model of F56 HMS Argonaut , a type 12M Leander class frigate fitted with the Exocet missile system as served in the Falklands War in 1982. In 1250 scale and now in metal this is one of four Leanders we have made for Falklands 40.
