Here is a detailed metal model of the Spirit of Free Enterprise, a Cross Channel Ro Ro ferry built for the Townsend Thoresen Company and in service from 1979-87. She was the second of three to built in class and this design was the the first passenger-carrying ferry on the Dover Strait with two vehicle decks and double-level loading. She was 132metres long and just under 8000 tons in size and top speed of 22 knots and carrying 1400 passengers. Another ferry from CNCollectables ref F31 with new tooling in 2021. Here is another new ship model for 2020 and the next in our ferry range. Here is MV Hamnavoe of Northlink Ferries and serves the Scrabster Stromness route. This version is in her original Northlink livery which she wore from 2002 to 2014.. She came into service in 2002. She is 112 metres long or 367 feet. 9000 tons in size and top speed of 19 knots. She can carry 600 passengers and 95 cars. This model is released in December 2020. Scale is 1/1250 . Ref F14 Made in metal and with completely new tooling. Here is MV Hjaltland of Northlink Ferries and serves the Aberdeen to Shetland and Orkney routes along with her sister ship MV Hrossey. This version is in the livery she carried from 2002 until 2014 She came into service in 2002. She is 125 metres long or 410 feet. 12000 tons in size and top speed of 24 knots. She can carry 600 passengers and 140 cars. This model is released in December 2020. Scale is 1/1250 . Ref F12 Made in metal and completely new tooling. Here is a detailed metal model of MV Tadla in the Comonov Lines Livery as per 2003 to 2007 Built in 1970 and in Comonov service from 2003-2007 Originally Free Enterprise V she had a long and successful history and we are making her in six different liveries in the summer of 2020 which are two TT, plus P&O, TEE, Comanov and Veronica Line. She was 117metres long or 385ft and just over 5000 tons in size and top speed of 19 knots could carry 1132 passengers. and 250 cars. This model was released in July 2020. Scale is 1/1250 She was built in 1970 in Schiedam, Netherlands for the Townsend Thoresen company. She sailed as TT until 1987, then for P & O (1988) as the Pride of Hythe, TEE (1993) as Laburnum, Comonav as Tadla (2003) and Veronica Line as Veronica (2007) until she was scrapped in 2012.
