  • Here is a highly detailed model of the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Invincible RO5. She  was the first of the three Invincible Class aircraft carriers of the Royal Navy. Built at Barrow in 1977, 19800 tons and 677feet long. Her flight deck beam was 115ft and her max speed was 28knots. She carrier 8 Sea Harriers and 12 Sea Kings in the Falklands models of which are also available in white metal from CN Collectables. This is our first major new model for 2022 and is part of the Falklands 40 releases. It is hand made of resin with metal detail.  Scale is 1/1250. Approx 166mms or 7 inches in length.   • My former work in education led to my accumulation of a variety of interesting books useful for the study of Religious Study. Most of these are for adult students or general readers.  They are included on my website as I am hoping to find good homes for them. Consequently I am open to offers.   • Here are two repainted steam tugs in playworn condition. One has a red funnel and the other has a yellow one. First series of Triang Minic ships. They are about 1.5 inches long or 37mm and my ref for them is M210.

  • Here is another ship in our Falklands 40th Anniversary tribute range. Remodelled  in metal this is HMS Ambuscade F172, Amazon Class Type 21  frigate. She was 3250 tons, 384ft or 117m and armed with 4.5inch gun, Exocet missiles and torpedoes.  She also carried a Wasp helicopter.  Length of model 108mms or 4 icnhes. Cat ref N55-172. 

       
  • Here is another new ship model for 2022. This is a brand new metal 1250 scale model of the Cable laying ship Iris (3). She was built for the Post Office Corporation by Robb Caledon in 1976. Based at Southampton her role was for cable repair around the UK and North Atlantic shelf.  She was 3872 tons gross and 97metres long.  Length is 78mms or 3 inches . CNC Catalogue number M15

       
  • Here is another new ship model for 2022. This is a brand new metal 1250 scale model of the Cable Ship Iris as adapted in 1982 in the Falklands. She was built for the Post Office Corporation by Robb Caledon in 1976. She was 3872 tons gross and 97metres long. After being fitted with a larger helicopter deck, CS Iris left Devonport for Ascension to transport stores from there to the Falkland Islands. During seven months of active service CS Iris steamed over 45,000 miles and was involved in over 800 helicopter operations in a period of 74 days. The model is 78mms or 3inches in length.

  • This is a painted and complete metal model of F56 HMS Argonaut , a type 12M Leander class frigate fitted with the Exocet missile system as served in the Falklands War in 1982. In 1250 scale and now in metal this is one of four Leanders we have made for Falklands 40.

    This is about 3.5 inches or 90mm long.  In its own box.  Model ref N63-56

  • This is a painted and complete metal model of HMS Yarmouth, a Rothesay Class frigate (type 12M) which served in the Falklands War. Pennanted  F101 and built by John Brown’s on the Clyde. She was 2600 tons, 370ft or 110 m in length. Max speed 30knots.  Arms included Sea Cat missiles, 4.5inch guns and a Wasp helicopter. This is a newly mastered metal model in 1250 scale. CNC Catalogue number N57-101
