1st Series HMS Sefton minesweeper of the Ton Class. The Royal Navy had 116 of these and Triang made 8, all looking the same but with different names and numbers diecast underneath. This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964

It's brand new model time. Here is a CN Collectables hand made painted scale metal model of the Isle of Man ferry MV Manxman. She is the new flagship of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and mostly sails between Heysham and Douglas. 24150tons, 237 cars, 76 trailers and 948 passengers. Our model is brand new in metal in 2024.

Here is a boxed model of USS Nimitz CVN 68 nuclear powered aircraft carrier. Triang code P800, a heavy and large beast. 11inches long or 277mm. The ship has not been out of its box but the box doe shave some storage wear. This is the Tri-ang Minic Ships model of USS Nimitz CVN 68 lead ship of the US Navy's Nimitz Class nuclear powered aircraft carriers which is named after Fleet Admiral Chester W Nimitz who commanded the US Pacific Fleet during World War II. The ten Nimitz class carriers are the largest warships in the world by displacement and are identified by consecutive hull numbers starting with CVN 68 where the letters CV denote the type of ship (aircraft carrier), N denotes nuclear powered propulsion and the number, e.g. 68, means that it is the 68th aircraft carrier commissioned by the US Navy. These 100,000+ ton ships, with an airwing of approximately 72 aircraft operating from a 4.5 acre flight deck, are floating airports able to launch as many as four aircraft per minute to protect the battle group or other friendly shipping; conduct attacks against enemy aircraft, surface ships, submarines and land targets; provide air support to land forces; or implement a sea / air blockade. They can both launch and recover aircraft simultaneously. -
Here is a harbour item from the amazing 1st series of Triang Minic Ships, 1956-64. M857 sea sheet in used good condition. There's some white paint spots on one fold a slight tear on an edge. Otherwise it's pretty good and over 60 years old. Yes it is a lot like a shower curtain. This is 26 x 26inches or just over 600mms square. Library photo. Ref Sea1 -

They have an Air Independent System enabling them to stay underwater for a very long time. 2400 tons Length 69m beam 7m Crew of 35. speed 25knots. Made in 1250 scale by CNCollectables. Here is another ship model in our ferry range. Here is MV Hjaltland of Northlink Ferries and serves the Aberdeen to Shetland and Orkney routes along with her sister ship MV Hrossey. This version is in the Magnus the Viking livery she currently wears. She came into service in 2002. She is 125 metres long or 410 feet. 12000 tons in size and top speed of 24 knots. She can carry 600 passengers and 140 cars. This model is released in December 2020. Scale is 1/1250 . Ref F11 Made in metal and completely new tooling. Here is a model of the new Royal Navy frigate the Type 31 now known as the "Inspiration Class". Commissioned in 2019 these ships will replace some of the type 23 frigates. Type 31 is a general purpose frigate weighing about 6283 tons and 138metres in length (455 ft). Speed in excess of 28 knots, crew up to 160.Arms 24 missile pods, 57mm and 2 40mm guns. Wildcat or Merlin capable with hangar. 4 boat bays for RHIBS. There are plans for five of this class to be built initially with the first in water in 2023.
