  • 1st Series Cunard cruise liner RMS Queen Elizabeth  M702

    Over 60 years old.  In  good condition with very slight playwear.  This is about 10 inches long. Or 265mms.

  • Here is a rare model from the First series of Triang Minic ships, a Pilot Ship. The model has been repainted so no lettering.  The superstructure is original.

    Triang code M 726. It is about 1.5 inches long or 37mm and our ref  is M417.

  • This is a model from the first series of ships made by Triang Minic Ships around 60 years ago.  HMS Albion  aircraft carrier in blue nice condition. Very little wear at all but no mast..   She is 7 inches long or 190mm. Minic code M 753 Our ref C402      
  • Here are two Arkitex kits made by Triang Spot On back in the 60s? There are loads of  photos to show what there is. The box lid of one has much damage.   SET no A looks to be complete, lots of pieces. The box front is classic design and good, the sides are complete but with open corners. A little wear as you would expect to the edges. SET Junior B. has two intact grey plastic bases and a small one with has some damage to it. The rest of the box is full of yellow pieces and clear plastic ones. The front lid has significant wear in that it has been nibbled away.  Really best for parts. We really dont know the value of these kits so we are open to ideas and offers as one lot.   We have had these for ages so there is no hurry.
  • This is a brand new metal 1250 scale model of HMS Endurance, a Royal Navy ice patrol vessel from 1967 to 1991.   She had a bright red hull, as is common for polar vessels to aid visibility but otherwise uncommon for the Royal Navy, so her crew nicknamed her The Red PlumEndurance was equipped with a signals listening suite on top of the hangar.  This is the peacetime version with A171 on her hull..  Cat ref N71x   Length of the model is 75mms or about 3 inches.

       
  • This is a model of the Queen Mary from the 1st series of Triang Minic Ships produced in the early 60s. She is 10 inches long or 245mm. In very good condition apart from one mark on the starboard side.  There are masts stored underneath the hull.  Our ref L318

    The famous clipper the Cutty Sark in the Airfix small sailing ships series Bagged and sealed.

    Here is an Airfix kit of the Cutty Sark.  It is  one of the small sailing ships series. Ref number 68.  The kit is bagged and sealed. The header paper is worn in places as befits its age. This kit was in the 1968-70 catalogues.

    Here is an Airfix kit of the Golden Hind, the ship of the well known pirate Sir Francis Drake. It is  one of the small sailing ships series. Ref number 61264-7 The box is has the instructions, decals and all the parts that I can check.

    Triang Minic Series 1 Royal Navy Carrier Task Group boxed set M893 with Albion as carrier

    Here is a rare example of M983, the Royal Navy Carrier Task Group Set, part of the 1st Series of Triang Minic Ships.. Produced around 1959/60 and containing models of HMS Albion, a ton class minesweeper, a V class frigate and a cruiser.  All the models are secured by a single thread. There are HMS Swiftsure, Virago and Sefton. All the ships are as left the factory.. The ships are blue. The inner lining of sea effect card is almost mint. The outer box in which it sits is excellent. The lid cover has some wear and damage to the corners.  The colouring of the classic design is good overall. 60 years on they are rare and an attractive collectable which captures the spirit of that time..
  • Here is the Cunard liner RMS IVERNIA M709,

    This is a model from the First Series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964 and she sailed between Southampton and the Americas. In quite good condition but I think the super structure has been touched up in places. Or it could be the way it came from the factory. She  is about 6 inches long. Or 15cms.  Our ref L320

    This is a model from the first series of Triang Minic Ships made between 1958 and  1964.  Known and loved as a beautiful cruise liner this was the first model produced by Triang all those years ago. M701 In very nice condition 60 years old This is about 6 inches long. Or 15cms.  Our ref M13
  • 1st Series Cunard cruise liner RMS Queen Elizabeth  M702 for TLC.  This is a first series example made between 1958 and  1964. It is very playworn and in need of restoration. This is about 10 inches long. Or 265mms. Our ref L313

       
  • This is a model from the second series of Triang Minic ships made in the 70s under the Hornby name. This is RMS Queen Mary of Cunard Lines, Holder of the Blue Riband at various times for the fastest travel cross the Atlantic She is 10 inches long or 250mm.  The model is in good condition with some slight  marks. Triang Minic code M 703. Our ref L308.      
  • 2nd Series HMS Vanguard battleship. as produced by Hornby in the 70s. In very good  condition.  Both cranes present, and aerial, plastic wheels present. Big ship- 210 mms in length. Our ref W324  
  • 1st Series Paddle steamer Cardiff Queen .This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964 and sailed around the Bristol Channel especially to holiday destinations such as Ilfracombe and Weston as a day trip ferry. Slight wear but displayable

  • Triang Minic Ships  first series, the cross channel ferry Isle of Sark. One of three made by Triang. Length is about 3 inches or 85mms. The model is in quite nice condition. Triang code M 724. Our code M314
  • Triang Minic Ships  first series, the 50s/60s Cross Channel ferry Isle of Guernsey. This example is very good. Very displayable.  One of three made by Triang and over 60 years old.

  •  This is an assembled resin kit of  a Type 42 Batch Two Guided Missile Destroyer. She was 3500 tons and is unpennanted.
