This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made between 1958 and 1964 SS Nieuw Amsterdam from the Holland Amerika transatlantic lines. She is 8 inches long or 195mm. Yes the Queen's Royal Yacht was designed to be easily converted to a hospital ship in times of conflict. Just over 4 inches long, 105mm. Condition: very nice, deck painted and 3 metal masts.
