Here is a harbour item from the 1st series of Triang Minic Ships, 1956-64. This is an Ocean Terminal based originally on the Southampton Art Deco building. Code M841. It's 50mm or 2 inches in length. This is a model from the second series of Minic ships made by Hornby in the 70's This is SS United States, the Holder of the Blue Riband at various times for the fastest travel cross the Atlantic She is 10 inches long or 250mm. The model is in reasonable condition . The funnel fins are intact the front mast is present but the deck has been overpainted a mauve colour. A bit dusty too.
