1st Series HMS Kent GM Destroyer
This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships and which were made in the last year or so (1963-4) and is thus very rare.
Triang code M784 Condition of the model is excellent with virtually no wear to the hull although the photos show up marks I can hardly see, a slight amount on the funnels so it has been played with but really well cared for. The helicopter is present and good. These models were packed in 4s or 6s so did not have their own boxes. This is very very good indeed hence the price. 60+ years old This is about 5.5 inches long. The MOD planned for 12 Darings but only built 6. so here's a chance to produce the other six, D38-43 with names of your own choosing. So here are a trio which may be any combination of numbers/names. Unboxed, many of these have faulty and corroded paintwork in places, PARTICULARLY NEAR THE STERN LOUVRES which is why the main photo shows this.
