Here we have an 8 piece "party susan" probably bought in the 70s by our parents and used inside and outside for party snacks or for party dips. It's made of hard wood and there is a base which rotates. There are 7 small trays which lip onto the base and can act as salad bowls or as holders of different items such as crisps or fruit or whatever. The central piece is a bowl with removable lid. This on its own makes a lovely salad bowl. Condition is used but enjoyable to see and to use. The whole assembly weighs 3 kilos as as per the photo occupies the whole of a small coffee table. This is a model from the first series of Triang Minic ships made between 1958 and 1964. This is the Aquitania of Cunard Lines. She is 10 inches long or 250mm. Condition is very good and with a warm creamy colour for the deck. There are small playwear marks in various places but it doesn't detract from the overall display i.m.h.o. The box is good .
