Here is another of our Falklands 40th Anniversary tribute range. This is a detailed brand new hand made metal waterline model of HMS Sheffield D90, a Type 42 Batch One Sheffield Class Guided Missile Destroyer. She was 4820 tons and armed with a 4.5inch gun, Sea Dart, Torpedoes and a Lynx helicopter. She was 410ft or 125metres in length. There were 270 crew. Our model includes her "unique in class" funnel.
On 4th May HMS Sheffield was severely damaged by an Exocet missile causing 20 deaths and 26 were badly injured. Major systems were destroyed and she sank under tow on 10th May 1982. She is a war grave on the sea bed. Our model is part of our commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands Conflict. Consequently we have included her pennant number as well as the Union Flag and black line for ID. We know that pennant numbers were painted over at this time but think that this is a better model and memorial. The model is about 100mms or 4inches in length. Here is another ship in our Falklands 40th Anniversary tribute range. Remodelled in metal this is HMS Ambuscade F172, Amazon Class Type 21 frigate. She was 3250 tons, 384ft or 117m and armed with 4.5inch gun, Exocet missiles and torpedoes. She also carried a Wasp helicopter. Length of model 108mms or 4 icnhes. Cat ref N55-172.

This is a painted and complete metal model of HMS Yarmouth, a Rothesay Class frigate (type 12M) which served in the Falklands War. Pennanted F101 and built by John Brown’s on the Clyde. She was 2600 tons, 370ft or 110 m in length. Max speed 30knots. Arms included Sea Cat missiles, 4.5inch guns and a Wasp helicopter. This is a newly mastered metal model in 1250 scale. 1st Series HMS London, perhaps the rarest of the four County Class Batch 1 destroyers that Triang made. This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964 and this was made in the last year or so and is thus very rare. Triang code M786 . Condition: There is some wear to both sides of the hull but it is fully intact. 55+ years old This is about 5.5 inches long. Or 130mms. Our ref W255.

Here is a recently made but incomplete model of the USNS Supply (T-AOE -6). This fast combat supply ship is the US Navy's largest combat logistics ship and is 48,800 tons. M710 RMS Sylvania transatlantic liner of Cunard Lines. 21000 tons and built to sail between Liverpool or Southampton to Canada or the USA. Made by Triang Minic ships between 1958 and 1964. This ship has very little wear. There are plastics. The box is OK. Triang code M 710. Approx 6 inches long. 155mm. Our ref T64. -

Here is another Ocean Terminal Set, M902 produced in the 70s when Hornby revived the Triang Minic Ships range. Made in Hong Kong but all the parts are identical to the 1st and indeed the third series except for the printing underneath. This set contains Queen Mary in good condition (one mast fixed and one loose), 5 quays, ocean terminal and extension pieces, two breakwaters and ends. crane set and customs shed. Also one tug. There is a 4 page catalogue as per photos and a harbour plan. Overall this is almost a complete set and in good condition. The contents are in good condition. The box is quite good with some wear but displayable. The artwork shows the Queen stern forwards as she arrives at the dock. our ref Set 16 -
