Here is a detailed metal model of the Pride of Free Enterprise, a Cross Channel Ro Ro ferry built for the Townsend Thoresen Company and in service from 1979-87. She was the third of three to be built in class and this design was the the first passenger-carrying ferry on the Dover Strait with two vehicle decks and double-level loading. She was 132metres long and just under 8000 tons in size and top speed of 22 knots and carrying 1400 passengers. Another ferry from CNCollectables ref F32 with new tooling in 2021. This version is in the Magnus the Viking livery she currently wears. She came into service in 2002. She is 125 metres long or 410 feet. 12000 tons in size and top speed of 24 knots. Having made a Virginia Class it seemed right to make a full hull version as would be seen in a dockyard. This is a full hull out of the water/dry dock version of the Virginia Class submarine of which there are currently 17 in service with the US Navy and more being built. Here is our second brand new model for 2024, a highly detailed model of the USNS 2ndLt John P Bo Bo, the first in class and named after a US Marine Medal of Honour recipient. This ship is a roll on roll off support ship of 40,846 tons when loaded. At 673ft long and 105ft wide she can carry over 1million gallons of fuel, 81,000 gallons of water and 500 containers. TAK 3008. In 1250 scale the ship is just under 7inches or 170mms in length. This class of ship has never been modelled in 1250 scale metal before and is well finished and detailed.
