  • 1st Series HMS Ashton minesweeper of the Ton Class. The Royal Navy had 116 of these and Triang made 8, all looking the same but with different names and numbers diecast underneath. This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. In blue. 50+ years old. Condition is quite good, a little dusty. This is about 1 inch long 25mm.

    USS Oriskany CV 34 Carrier with white decals.

    Here is a detailed model of the USS Oriskany, the mighty O. CV34.  Here she has white decals on her deck.  She was an Essex class straight deck  carrier completed after the end of WW2 and then adapted  under the SCB27 initiative. 30000 tons and in service until 1976. In 1/1250 scale, made of  resin with metal detail.  This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures.  It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number N77/1.

These were supplied in boxes of a dozen assorted of the five examples of lightship. This model is still in its original plastic packaging and is untouched and unopened. These were supplied in boxes of a dozen assorted of the five examples of lightship. I have just found a box of these from the age of the dinosaurs and am listing them today.   • Here is a model of the  USS Germantown which is a Whidbey Island Class Dock Landing ship of the  USNavy.  At 16100 tons there are eight ships in this class.  This model is pennanted 42.         Scale is 1/1250 Size is 6 inches or 150mms in length. In a secure box.     This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures.  It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number N83  
  • Here is a fully assembled and painted model of HMS Forth the submarine tender as she was in 1940 version. She was built on the Clyde in 1938 and in WW2 was based at Holy Loch Scotland and Halifax Nova Scotia. In later life she served in Malta and Singapore.  Scale is 1/1250. She is made of resin with metal detail by Mountford Models. Size is 160 mms or 6 inches long . This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures.  It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number N68

  • 2nd Series Cunard cruise liner RMS Queen Elizabeth  M702 The second series was produced in the 70s in Hong Kong under the Hornby logo. This ship is the original casting with a plastic wheelbase. Condition is good. This is about 10 inches long. Or 265mms. Our ref L832

  • This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. The Royal Yacht Britannia in Hospital mode. Yes the Queen's Royal Yacht was designed to be easily converted to a hospital ship in times of conflict. Just over 4 inches long, 105mm. This example is in very good condition on the port side and superstructure, she also has 3 masts but on the port side there are large missign chips of paint.   Triang code M721/721A our ref L824

  • Here is a highly detailed assembled model of the ARDM1  USS Oak Ridge Submarine Dock. It comes with a submarine too. Scale is 1/1250 It is made of resin and it is 135 mms or 5+ inches long .   • Here is an Ocean Terminal Boxed Set produced in the 70s when Hornby revived the Triang Minic Ships range.  Made in Hong Kong but all the parts are identical to the 1st and indeed the third series except for the printing underneath.  This set contains  RMS Queen Mary, two tugs, an ocean terminal and extension, five quay straights a customs shed and a crane set, three end pieces and 2 breakwater straights. The contents are in good playworn condition but the Queen Mary has both masts and is mint.  The box front cover is another attractive piece of artwork based on Southampton and is  showing some wear. It shows a different aspect of the Queen Mary. The rest of the box is well worn hence the photos to show this. So more a set to use rather than as a collector's item. Triang ref M902  Our ref set 8.
  • This is a model of a 1920 Leyland 3 ton truck aka Subsidy Lorry. Made by Matchbox as a limited edition special in the red and gold livery packaging,  in their Models of Yesteryear series in the 80s. Condition of the model is mint. Condition of the unique box is good slight storage wear.  Matchbox code Y9
  • This is a model of a 1910 Renault Van in the livery of James Neale and sons. Made by Matchbox in their Models of Yesteryear series in the 80 early 90'ss Condition of the model is mint. Condition of the box is ok. Matchbox code Y25. This model was released in a limited quantity at the time. Very attractive livery.
  • This is a model of a 1927 Talbot Van in the livery of Wrights Coal Tar Soap. Made by Matchbox in their Models of Yesteryear series in the 80's. Condition of the model is mint. Condition of the box is ok Matchbox code Y5.

  • 1st Series French Lines Antilles M713. This is  rare model from the First Series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964.

    In white, to cruise the Caribbean Sea. 55 years old Condition very nice with some wear showing.  This is about 6 inches long. Or 15cms. Our ref L812

  • These are models from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. This is the St Gowan Lightship as stationed off the Pembrokeshire Coast.  Good condition.  Approx 1 inch in length. Libray photo as we have more than one of these in similar condition. our ref M804
  • This is a model from the First Series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. This is a SUNK lightship. Placed by Trinity House where there was hidden danger to shipping, notably in the Thames estuary.  Four other lightships were made in the first series and were in small cellophane  bags packed in boxes of a dozen. Very random mix in these boxes in our experience. and of course in the modern series 3 there were four made with helidecks. Good condition, approx 1 inch in length. our  ref M802

This is a model of the Varne Lightship which was sited in the Dover Straight near the Varne sandbank.  Trinity House still maintains an automatic vessel on the same  site today.   Very Good condition.  Approx 1 inch in length.   • As promised we now have stock of our Devonport Dockyard Basin 2 kit, the Frigate Complex. Basin 3 submarine store and factory has now sold out and we will make  more if we have enough firm orders.  Basins 4/Basin 5 sold out very quickly, thank you and could be remade again if there are enough firm orders. Basin 2 kit includes an A3 board, blue sea, metal cranes and gates, the three docks for frigates with removable sheds and adjustable doors, the breakwater walls of the basin and assorted roadways, buildings and greenery made from high quality plastic compound.  At ship shows we have shown our completed model which was made for the photo cover of the kit.  Catalogue number CND01
