Here is a model of the USS Whidbey Island Class Dock Landing ship of the USNavy. At 16100 tons there are eight ships in this class. Scale is 1/1250 Size is 6 inches or 150mms in length. In a secure box. This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures. It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number N80X -
This is a painted and complete full hull model of a Lafayette Class submarine in 1250 scale made by CNCollectables in metal. This class was part of the USN Cold War response and a development from the Ethan Allen Class. Length 130m 425ft Beam 10m 33ft Displacement 8245 tonnes. Crew 140 Top speed 21knots This is about 3.5 inches or 100mm long. ref S137

Here are 2 harbour steam tugs with blue funnels and brown decks Essentially the same model as 1st series but these were made in the Hornby Minic range of the 70s, series 2. Playworn condition. They are about 1.5 inches long. Or 4cms. Ref M551 -
Here is a model of the type 21 frigate F184, HMS Ardent. Modelled in resin and recently assembled.
She was 3250 tons, 384ft or 117m and armed with 4.5inch gun, Exocet missiles and torpedoes. She also carried a Wasp helicopter. Model length is 108mms or 4 inches Cat ref N55-184 X

Here is a new ship model for 2024. This is a brand new metal 1250 scale model of the Cable laying ship Monarch. She was built for the Post Office Corporation by Robb Caledon in 1976. Third is the SEA SHADOW of the United States Navy which is 43m and 240tonnes. The model is 33mms or 1.3inches. Made in metal, hand painted and finished. Here are two Arkitex kits made by Triang Spot On back in the 60s? There are loads of photos to show what there is. The box lid of one has much damage. SET no A looks to be complete, lots of pieces. The box front is classic design and good, the sides are complete but with open corners. A little wear as you would expect to the edges. SET Junior B. has two intact grey plastic bases and a small one with has some damage to it. The rest of the box is full of yellow pieces and clear plastic ones. The front lid has significant wear in that it has been nibbled away. Really best for parts. We really dont know the value of these kits so we are open to ideas and offers as one lot. We have had these for ages so there is no hurry. -

Here is the aircraft carrier USS Midway CV41. In the version from the 1970s. We are pleased to have made a new production run of USS Midway in all three versions. . Upgraded, new tooling and with new metal mastering. 64000 tons fully loaded, a crew of over 4100 and with 70 aircraft. We also have the 1959-60s version and the 1990 version. In 1/1250 scale, made of resin with metal detail. About 10 inches or 250mms in length. CNCollectables catalogue number N86 -
This is a brand new metal 1250 scale model of HMS Endurance, a Royal Navy ice patrol vessel from 1967 to 1991. She had a bright red hull, as is common for polar vessels to aid visibility but otherwise uncommon for the Royal Navy, so her crew nicknamed her The Red Plum. Endurance was equipped with a signals listening suite on top of the hangar. This is the peacetime version with A171 on her hull.. Cat ref N71x Length of the model is 75mms or about 3 inches.
