This is a model from the second series of Minic ships made by Hornby in the 70's This is SS United States, the Holder of the Blue Riband at various times for the fastest travel cross the Atlantic She is 10 inches long or 250mm. The model is in reasonable condition . The funnel fins are intact the front mast is present but the deck has been overpainted a mauve colour. A bit dusty too. This is a set of USN Low visibility Stars and Bars decals waterslide transfers from CNCollectables for 1250/1200 scale. This is a quarter of an A6 sized sheet so there are approx 300. We also have RAF decals in the same sizes and quantities. Thought they would be good to accompany our range of over 40 white metal aircraft with 13 new ones mostly USN due in April 2021.
