1st Series HMS Devonshire
This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964 and this was made in the last year or so and is thus quite rare. Alas her mast is detached so she is a second.
She was 3250 tons, 384ft or 117m and armed with 4.5inch gun, Exocet missiles and torpedoes. She also carried a Wasp helicopter. Model length is 108mms or 4 inches ref Y108

Here is a Battle Fleet Set from Triang Minic Ships. Produced in about 2005/06 . The main ship in this set is an Albion class assault ship. There are also one escort, two minehunters and and a V class submarine to accompany her. The box of this set is quite worn but the ships are as new. Plenty of pics to show all around. Here is an unused boxed model of the Container ship MV City of Durban in Ellermann Lines . This was one of the first releases by Triang and has a container load of individually painted metal containers which slot into the deck. They are quite tiny so are best glued together in small loads. Full size length 848ft/258metres, beam 103ft/31.5 metres, draught 38ft/11.7metres. There are two radar scanners, a mast and two single derricks. The container load is in four colours. Not for under 8 years old. Length of model is 8 inches or 21.5cms. Minic code is P620B -
This is the first in our series of River Class Ships of the Royal Navy. HMS Clyde.
The River class patrol boats are 21st century ships designed for multiple roles including firefighting, disaster relief and anti-pollution work. They have a large open deck enabling different equipment to be fitted for purpose. They can handle tracked and wheeled vehicles, can carry about 50 troops and have a crew of about 30. HMS Clyde was built in Portsmouth with an extended deck to take a Merlin helicopter. She is 81metres in length and can do 21knots. Armed with a 30mm cannon, Phalanx system and 2 miniguns. She is approximately 2000 tonnes fully loaded.P257 She is known as a Batch 1a and was adapted for service in the Falklands. In 2020 she was retired and transferrred to the Royal Bahrain Navy. She is about 70mm long and comes in a box. Ref N12.

Here is a complete box of the three type 42 Batch 1 Destroyers which were included in the limited edition produced in 2002-03. There is HMS Newcastle HMS Cardiff and HMS Glasgow. They are wrapped in tissue in side this box. The querk is that on the underside it does say HMS Cardiff when in fact it is Newcastle and so on each of the three ships. The heli deck is wrong too but this is how they were made and this is the only version of HMS Newcastle and Cardiff ever made by Triang. In the limited edition this was a production error but Triang were unable to re-release the ships with correct pennant and casting. Length 4.0 inches and 100mm. Triang code N741 742 and 743 -
This is the second model in our range of River Class Ships of the Royal Navy. HMS Tyne P281 is a Batch 1 ship of 1900 tonnes. She is 80metres or 260ft long and has armament of cannon, a Phalanx system and 2 GP machine guns. The model from CNCollectables is metal and about 65mm long and comes in its own box. ref N13.

This is the fourth of our River Class Ships of the Royal Navy, HMS Mersey P283. She is 1900 tons, 80 metres or 260ft and armed with cannon and phalanx in this mode. River Class are multi purpose ships so they can be adapted with specific equipment depending on their role. HMS Mersey is a Batch 1, and our model is about 65mm long and comes in its own box. ref N15

This is a new metal model of HMS River Forth of the River class patrol boat of the Royal Navy in 1250 scale.
HMS Forth P222 is the fourth release in our series of River Class Ships. In service from 2018 she is a Batch 2 design. 90 metres in length, 24 knots, crew of 30 and Merlin capable. 2000 tonnes and armed with 30mm cannon and Phalanx system. These ships are multi purpose and can be fitted for a wide range of roles. Our model is about 70mm or 2.5 inches long and comes in its own box. ref N16

Here is a detailed model of the Arklow Vale bulk carrier and multi freight ship. She is part of the Arklow fleet based in Ireland and the Netherlands. Built in 2015 and 5100 tonnes, she is engaged in multiple freight roles around Ireland, the UK and Europe. She has an energy efficient design bow. We make three versions based on this size of ship. Made of metal, size is 70mms or just under 3 inches in length with closed covers and the crane at the bridge end. Ref M04 CNCollectables model. -

Built in 2018 and 5170 tonnes, she is engaged in multiple freight roles around Ireland, the UK and Europe. She is 87metres long. Here is another new ship model in our ferry range. Here is MV Hrossey of Northlink Ferries and serves the Aberdeen to Shetland and Orkney routes along with her sister ship MV Hjaltland. This version is in the livery she carried from 2002 until 2014. She came into service in 2002. She is 125 metres long or 410 feet. 12000 tons in size and top speed of 24 knots.
