  • This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made between 1958 and 1964 SS Nieuw Amsterdam from the Holland Amerika transatlantic lines. She is 8 inches long or 195mm. Very good condition . Couple of small chips on the bridge and a tiny one on the hull, but otherwise perfect. Minic code M 706 Our ref L416    
  • Here is a highly detailed model of the  Sukhona PD73 Russian Floating Dock. Scale is 1/1250 It is made of resin and is 130 mms or 5 inches long. This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures.  It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number CND31  
  • Here is a highly detailed assembled model of the ARDM1  USS Oak Ridge Submarine Dock. It comes with a submarine too. Scale is 1/1250 It is made of resin and it is 135 mms or 5+ inches long . This is one of a number of models which we have inherited when we bought the former Mountford range from MT Miniatures.  It has been assembled and completed to a good standard and is in a good box and with a CNCollectables catalogue number CND26. Comes with a submarine.
  • Here is a highly detailed model of the Commodore Liberation Ferry. It joined the Condor fleet in 2015.  Scale is 1/1250 It is made of metal by CNCollectables Size is 4inches or 100mms  my ref F28
  • 1st Series liner freighter mail ship Port Brisbane M 716. This is a model from the First Series of Triang Minic ships made towards the end of 1962-4. This is why it is a rare ship in the range. Condition of the model is generally very good. The deck  colour is creamy and there's a little dust to remove. Displayable and one of my favourite Triangs. This is just over 5 inches long or 138mms. Ref L202

    RFA Sir Bedivere SLEP version by CNCollectables.

    Here is a new and highly detailed model of the ship RFA Sir Bedivere SLEP  (modernised)version. L3004. She was commissioned in 1967 and saw extensive service in many naval operations since. Her home port was Marchwood.  In 1982 at Ascension she picked up the sappers of 11 Field Squadron Royal Engineers.She suffered slight damage whilst lying in San Carlos Water when a Skyhawk dropped a bomb that glanced off the ship.  In 1994, the ship was modernised in a service life extension programme to give it an extra 15 years. The ship was lengthened by 12 m, had superstructure altered, new engines  and the ship's bow thrusters were improved.  This model is of the modernised version. SLEP. After returning to service in 1998, the ship was sent to Sierra Leone in 2000, and in 2002 the Mediterranean and was diverted to the Persian Gulf  accompanied by four British minesweepers. The ship returned to the U.K. in May 2003, carrying the boats and men of 539 Assault Squadron RM.  In  2008, she was sold to Brazil, joining her sister ship Sir Galahad (XAS 003). She was handed over in 2009, after a major refit in Falmouth. She was renamed NDCC Almirante Saboia (G-25).  Thanks to Wikipedia for info.     MV Laburnum Trans European Ferries Cross Channel Ferry,

    Here is a detailed metal model of MV Laburnum in the service of Trans European Ferries. Built in 1970 and in TEE service from 1993-2003 Originally Free Enterprise V she had a long and successful history and we made  six different liveries in the summer of 2020.     She was 117metres long  or 385ft and just over 5000 tons in size and top speed of 19 knots could carry 1132 passengers. and 250 cars. Scale is 1/1250   She was built in 1970 in Schiedam, Netherlands for the Townsend Thoresen company. She sailed as TT until 1987, then  for P & O (1988)  as the Pride of Hythe, TEE (1993) as Laburnum, Comonav as Tadla (2003) and Veronica Line as Veronica (2007) until she was scrapped in 2012. Posted all over the world with tracked postage. Cat ref F06

  • Here is a new detailed metal model of an Arleigh Burke Flight 1/Mark 1 guided missile destroyer. There are two versions available and this is the one with a set of transfers offering numbers 51-54. You may also wish to add your own decals for any other ship in the class. 9000 tons 505feet or 154metres long. It is made of metal by CNCollectables  ref N03    about 5inches or 130mms in length
  • Here is a model of  the Holland Class frigates or offshore patrol vessels of the Netherlands Navy.  Holland-class ships have a tonnage of 3,750 tons, are 108.4 metres or 355 ft in length, 16 metres beam and a draft of 4.5m  The ships have a speed of 21.5knots and a range of 5,800 miles or 9300 km. The ship's crew is 52, as well as up to 39 people for duties such as helicopter or medical crew. Designed with stealth in mind  they have a Thales Integrated Mast for comms. They have a hangar and flight deck for an NH90 helicopter and carry two Fast Raiding Interception Special forces Craft  with a speed of more than 40 knots. Main arms are a 76mm Oto Melara Super Rapid gun with a range of 10miles or 16km plus 2x 30mm, 2x 12.7mm and 6 Heavy machine guns. There are 4 ships in class   P840  Holland    P841  Zeeland   P842 Friesland and P843 Groningen This model has been pennanted 840 and there are alternative transfers for the other three in a small bag in the box along with guidelines on how to remove the pennant number. These are also in our website library. Modern ships for modern times and a variety of roles in any part of the world including Plymouth.

In the last few years most of the type 23s have undergone service life extension servicing at the Devonport Frigate Complex. Major work has included new engines, radar and electronics so we thought it time to make a model.  In metal. Ref N52-78

    This example is of F78 HMS Kent At the same time we have remodelled the original Type 23s in metal and with extra detail with reference N53

  • Here is one of  our Falklands 40th Anniversary tribute range.

    Remodelled  in metal this is HMS Active F171 Amazon Class Type 21  frigate. She was 3250 tons, 384ft or 117m and armed with 4.5inch gun, Exocet missiles and torpedoes.  She also carried a Wasp helicopter.  Model length is 108mms or 4 icnhes. ref N55-171. 

       
  • Here is another of  our Falklands 40th Anniversary tribute range. This is a detailed brand new hand made metal waterline model of HMS  Coventry D118,  a Type 42 Batch One Sheffield Class Guided Missile Destroyer. She was 4820 tons and armed with a 4.5inch gun, Sea Dart, Torpedoes and a Lynx helicopter.  She was 410ft or 125metres in length. There were 270 crew.

    On 25th May HMS Coventry was hit by three bombs causing 19 deaths and 30 were badly injured. Major systems were destroyed and in 20 minutes she capsized and sank. She is a war grave on the sea bed. Our model is part of our commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands Conflict. For reasons of identifying the model in a fleet we have included her pennant number as well as the black line and the St Georges Flag which were part of the ID recognition.   We realise that in the Falklands her pennant number was painted over but think that this is a better model for  a collection or memory. We are also offering Gift Sets with various combinations.  Made of metal from CNCollectables and in a good box.  Length about 100mms or 4inches. Catalogue ref N61-118

She was 3250 tons, 384ft or 117m and armed with 4.5inch gun, Exocet missiles and torpedoes.  She also carried a Wasp helicopter.  Length of model 108mms or 4 icnhes. Cat ref N55-172. 

       
  • Here is another new ship model for 2022. This is a brand new metal 1250 scale model of the Cable laying ship Iris (3). She was built for the Post Office Corporation by Robb Caledon in 1976. Based at Southampton her role was for cable repair around the UK and North Atlantic shelf.  She was 3872 tons gross and 97metres long.  Length is 78mms or 3 inches . CNC Catalogue number M15

       
  • This is a painted and complete metal model of HMS Yarmouth, a Rothesay Class frigate (type 12M) which served in the Falklands War. Pennanted  F101 and built by John Brown’s on the Clyde. She was 2600 tons, 370ft or 110 m in length. Max speed 30knots.  Arms included Sea Cat missiles, 4.5inch guns and a Wasp helicopter. This is a newly mastered metal model in 1250 scale. CNC Catalogue number N57-101

    This is about 3.8 inches or 92mm long.  In its own box.
