  • Here is our brand new hand made metal 1250 scale model of  the RFA oiler tanker Blue Rover, A270. Built on the Tyne in 1969/70 she was 11522  tons fully laden, 451  ft or 14o metres in length and with a crew of 47. She is 110mms or 4inches in length and hopefully the photos show the detailed deck equipment. This is the last of our many models made to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Falklands conflict.

  • CN Collectables are pleased to announce  the next part of our programme of white metal  model aircraft model in a new range.  All our aircraft are being offered with folded or fixed wings and time and attention has been spent on the undercarriages that you usually cant see.  With this release we have now covered all of the major planes that served with the US Navy since WW2 enabling carrier battle fleets to be loaded up with all of the kit. This plane ref A33  is five examples of the A7 Corsair with folded wings in a plastic bag and secured to card when wrapped.  New release 2021.  
  • Here is a model of  the Holland Class frigates or offshore patrol vessels of the Netherlands Navy.  Holland-class ships have a tonnage of 3,750 tons, are 108.4 metres or 355 ft in length, 16 metres beam and a draft of 4.5m  The ships have a speed of 21.5knots and a range of 5,800 miles or 9300 km. The ship's crew is 52, as well as up to 39 people for duties such as helicopter or medical crew. Designed with stealth in mind  they have a Thales Integrated Mast for comms. They have a hangar and flight deck for an NH90 helicopter and carry two Fast Raiding Interception Special forces Craft  with a speed of more than 40 knots. Main arms are a 76mm Oto Melara Super Rapid gun with a range of 10miles or 16km plus 2x 30mm, 2x 12.7mm and 6 Heavy machine guns. There are 4 ships in class   P840  Holland    P841  Zeeland   P842 Friesland and P843 Groningen This model has been pennanted 840 and there are alternative transfers for the other three in a small bag in the box along with guidelines on how to remove the pennant number. These are also in our website library. Modern ships for modern times and a variety of roles in any part of the world including Plymouth.

  • Item HMS Glasgow D 88 type 42 destroyer These ships were part of the 2011 release of Royal Navy Ships by Triang Minic following the sell out of many items. Ships have pennant numbers and detailed flight decks. Underneath they are the same.Limited stock now

    Although no longer in service there are many fond associations with her, especially where they were built.

  • Having made a Virginia Class it seemed right to make a full hull version as would be seen in a dockyard. This is a full hull out of the water/dry dock version of  the Virginia Class submarine of which there are currently 17 in service with the US Navy and more being built.  This is a second production run and these dont have a self supporting stand so need a dry dock or a bit of blue tack.   • Here is a highly detailed model of the ship RFA Sir Galahad as built in 1987 as a replacement for the ship lost in the Falklands War. It is made of metal by CNCollectables. Scale is 1/1250 so the ship is 110mm in length.  ref N36. This is a new run and was one of the first models commissioned by us.
