Unboxed used in excellent condition is this Invincible class carrier HMS Invincible R05. Pennant number in place .Length 7.0 inches and 175mm Triang code P700-05. The ship was part of the Triang Release of all three in class with different pennants. Now hard to find alas since Triang went out of business in the late 20teens. Our ref C510 -

Here is a boxed model of USS Nimitz CVN 68 nuclear powered aircraft carrier. Triang code P800, a heavy and large beast. 11inches long or 277mm. The ship has not been out of its box but the box doe shave some storage wear. This is the Tri-ang Minic Ships model of USS Nimitz CVN 68 lead ship of the US Navy's Nimitz Class nuclear powered aircraft carriers which is named after Fleet Admiral Chester W Nimitz who commanded the US Pacific Fleet during World War II. The ten Nimitz class carriers are the largest warships in the world by displacement and are identified by consecutive hull numbers starting with CVN 68 where the letters CV denote the type of ship (aircraft carrier), N denotes nuclear powered propulsion and the number, e.g. 68, means that it is the 68th aircraft carrier commissioned by the US Navy. These 100,000+ ton ships, with an airwing of approximately 72 aircraft operating from a 4.5 acre flight deck, are floating airports able to launch as many as four aircraft per minute to protect the battle group or other friendly shipping; conduct attacks against enemy aircraft, surface ships, submarines and land targets; provide air support to land forces; or implement a sea / air blockade. They can both launch and recover aircraft simultaneously. -

Here is an unused model of the Container ship in Maersk Lines livery, a version which sold out very quickly years ago.
This was part of 4 re- releases by Triang Minic in about 2013. We have been able to acquire two of these albeit at significant cost.
Full size length 848ft/258metres, beam 103ft/31.5 metres, draught 38ft/11.7metres. The length of model is 8 inches or 21.5cms.

Well here is another surprise, I found a few of these when sorting through my stock of type 42/2. Made about 2004 as part of the generic models series of Triang Minic Ships. Type 42 batch 2 destroyer 95mm (4inches.) long. Unboxed as I'm taking them out of the bubble so large letter postage which is £2 cheaper. ref P745g -

Having made a Virginia Class it seemed right to make a full hull version as would be seen in a dockyard. This is a full hull out of the water/dry dock version of the Virginia Class submarine of which there are currently 17 in service with the US Navy and more being built. This is a second production run and these dont have a self supporting stand so need a dry dock or a bit of blue tack. Only just noticed this difference. 8700tons 370ft long. Over the years we have collected a number of type 45s with a variety of faults and now they are looking for new homes and harbours. We have just been sorting some out and clearly they have spent much time at sea. The MOD planned for 12 Darings but only built 6. so here's a chance to produce the other six, D38-43 with names of your own choosing. So here are a trio which may be any combination of numbers/names. Unboxed, many of these have faulty and corroded paintwork in places, PARTICULARLY NEAR THE STERN LOUVRES which is why the main photo shows this.
