This is a model from the First Series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. This is a SUNK lightship. Placed by Trinity House where there was hidden danger to shipping, notably in the Thames estuary. Four other lightships were made in the first series and were in small cellophane bags packed in boxes of a dozen. Very random mix in these boxes in our experience. and of course in the modern series 3 there were four made with helidecks. Good condition, approx 1 inch in length. our ref M204 -
These are models from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. This is a model of the Varne Lightship which was sited in the Dover Straight near the Varne sandbank. Trinity House still maintains an automatic vessel on the same site today. Good condition but the light is wonky and needs straightening a bit. Approx 1 inch in length. Our ref M203. -

Yes the Queen's Royal Yacht was designed to be easily converted to a hospital ship in times of conflict. Just over 4 inches long, 105mm. Condition: very nice, excellent. Condition is playworn with some chips on the superstructure. She was also a troop carrier throughout WW2 and carried thousands of troops across the Atlantic to and fro. Triang code M803.
