This is a painted and complete metal model of F56 HMS Argonaut , a type 12M Leander class frigate fitted with the Exocet missile system as served in the Falklands War in 1982. In 1250 scale and now in metal this is one of four Leanders we have made for Falklands 40.

Item HMS Birmingham D 86 type 42 destroyer These ships were part of the 2011 release of Royal Navy Ships by Triang Minic following the sell out of many items. Ships have pennant numbers and detailed flight decks. Underneath they are the same.Although no longer in service there are many fond associations with her, especially when I coom froom.
