Telford IPMS Show Aircraft Photos November 2021

I was delighted to be taken to the second day of the Telford IPMS show and was totally knocked out by the quality and variety of models on display. At 11am there was a short and dignified Remembrance Parade with various current and former service people meeting on the gantry between halls one and two and the senior officer saying the appropriate words.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

I was pleased to see larger scale models of some of the aircraft that we make at CN Collectables and was pleased to be given permission to post some of my photos. Apologies for the delay but the tech proved hard to fit the photos and words into this website.  So first, Wessex and Seakings  built by George Clark of Wallingford Group. I do have many more photos I could send to individuals by email.

The aircraft with a desert background were on the Gulf War Special Interest Group.  Then onto the Abingdon IPMS stand and  this diorama of helicopters. Finally a Hawkeye and Phantom. I particularly enjoyed the South Falkland SIG stand and it was great to see Matthew and Trudy of MT Miniatures with their magnificent 700 scale HMS Queen Elizabeth.  Thanks to Martin for arranging all of this first time visit which wont be the last.
