We have made a very limited number of our Triang type 23 frigates in life extended mode in order to cover the complete fleet. This includes the three frigates sold to Chile which have also been life extended. The models are in the Triang style but made of white metal and the masts too, and made in the UK. Each ship is in its purposely designed bubble and then stapled to the card. Numbers vary but there are roughly eight of each one. The RN ships have their code sign on the helideck. Whether we are able to make any more of these is of course an unknown factor as our brilliant designer and manufacturer died in July 2025.
