We are obviously in the business of buying and selling a wide range of models with an emphasis upon ships and dockyards in 1200 and 1250 scale. My background is particularly interested in the history, geography and belief systems of our world. So in February 2022 when Russia invaded Ukraine again we basically hid all of our listings relating to Russian/Soviet boats, ships and planes. A gesture which might quite rightly be seen as pathetic.
Six months on and at least there are now many ways of helping the large number of people displaced, injured and made stateless. Also the majority of the world’s nations have condemned the aggression. I cant recall ever having made a political statement on our business site but have done so to explain that we shall make available our Russian models and shall continue to do what we can to support the people of Ukraine, especially with the agencies which aim to look after and resettle refugees.
